Our cacao beans are grown in the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest, by small farming cooperatives and farming families.

Peruvian Cacao

The best chocolate in the world is made from Peruvian cacao beans. The soil and climate of the Peruvian Amazon is ideal for the cultivation of cacao. OrganicCrops cacao beans are hand selected from mature heirloom Criollo and Forrestero trees that are harvested on small family farms in the Amazon Rainforest.

Cacao pods are harvested by hand. After removing the beans from the pods, the beans are fermented and dried in the sun. The dried beans are transported to Lima for further processing and export. We offer the following cacao products:
